This product is identified in crude oil distillation processes between light gas and kerosene divisions. Light Naphtha applications include: as a raw material for plastics and artificial fibers, industrial alcohols, and fuel for household heating such as liquefied petroleum gas and kerosene. Light Naphtha is also used to produce gasoline or raw materials to make different paints and thinners.
